This 1-day course is designed for all healthcare professionals who will experience acute diabetes and/or endocrine emergencies while managing general medical and surgical admissions, inpatients, emergency departments as well as managing diabetes and endocrine patients in GP surgeries and hospital outpatient departments .

- This 1-day course will equip candidates with basic treatment knowledge to help them manage acute diabetes and endocrine emergencies.
- The course will introduce the different types of insulins and their ussage in daily acute management.
- The candidates will learn management of common conditions such as DKA, Addisonian crisis while understanding complex emergencies such as thyroid storm.
- Candidates will feel confident in managing all diabetes and endocrine emergencies by the end of the course.
